Jonathan Edwards has been appointed as Prospects’ first Executive Ambassador. Jonathan is a Baptist minister and has served as one of Prospects’ Ambassadors for the past couple of years. The role will include helping to give spiritual oversight to Prospects during a period of rapid growth and working to enhance the profile of the organization. Jonathan comments, “Ever since I first heard of Prospects about 20 years ago, I have been thrilled to hear of its vital ministry. Anyone who loves the Gospel must love the work of Prospects, as we seek to show the love of Christ to those with learning disabilities. It will be an absolute pleasure to work for Prospects.” Jonathan lives with his family in Newbury, Berkshire and for the past seven years has been the General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Sue Jenkins is co-Founding Director of Foxes in Minehead which comprises Foxes Academy and more recently Foxes Fields. Foxes Academy http://www.foxesacademy.ac.uk is a specialist Ofsted graded Outstanding Training Hotel on Minehead seafront. The Academy enables learners achieve nationally recognised qualifications that will help them gain employment but also promotes full, independent living skills that helps learners lead a rich and fulfilling life. Foxes Fields http://www.foxesfields.co.uk is a brand new independent residential school for 11-18 year olds with learning disabilities.
